The last wish – End Bitterness in your relationships today

A man, who knew that his end was near, asked for the last wish. He said, he wanted to speak with his estranged brother, with whom he hadn\’t spoken for 15 years. He wanted to end bitterness in relationships. Couldn\’t he have done it much earlier and shared so much more love? Bitterness in relationships can bring a wall of hate between two loving people and waste life away.

End Bitterness in Relationships

Anger, resentment, hate are emotions that can bring our life to a grinding halt. These are the emotions that not only manifest as chronic illnesses in our body, they also make us close our heart to love, peace and joy. We become lifeless bodies. Overtime, we forgot to love. Life is wasted away for no reason. Remember, nothing is greater than being able to share a bit of love everyday. End bitterness in relationships today. Let love not be the last wish in your life.

As you get to know people, you get more familiar to their presence around you. Everything feels nice. However, over time, you feel like you want to bring some newness in your relationship. You get bored with the same attitude of the people around you and so, you take them for granted. Then, you try to control or change their behaviour, actions, expressions and so on. This wanting to control or change causes bitterness in between  you and your partner, children, friends, etc. In all this, we forget to share a bit of love everyday. It breeds negative attachment. Our relationships get worn out and we feel strange sense of unease around the same people we once loved.

The last wish – Share a bit of love

Cleanse the familiarity like you cleanse your wardrobe and start a new way to communicate with the people at home today. Find something new to share. A new way to love. The inventory of furniture, clothes and gadgets in your home get old with time and they go through refurbishment and replacement every few years. Our relationships are similar in a way. However, the refurbishment must happen within. On the outside, care must be taken to maintain your smile. If you can smile at strangers everyday, why cant\’t you smile at your own family members? Home is where the heart gets its nourishment. End bitterness in your relationships today. At home, be sure to breed love, not hate. — Dr. Mahesh Krishnamurthy, Ph.D

Our psyche is influenced by our perception. Perceptions rule the mind. As long as we are governed by our perceptions, we cannot be unconditionally loving and accepting in our relationships. Interactions with our spouse and children, are wrapped around with expectations from each other. Over time, conversations become confrontations and happy relationships breed bitterness. Trikona Samsara Kriya is a psychological practice that helps remove bitterness in relationships so that you can share a bit of love everyday. Bitterness builds negative attachment between you and your family members.
