Almost every person who is present on this planet at this moment is aiming to become better at what he or she is doing. There is an innate need to excel in what they are pursuing, whether it is their studies or their profession. Everyone is in pursuit to be the best. However, there is a problem. Many people don’t know what they want to pursue. I have come across people who have retired from their jobs and yet don’t have an idea about what they wanted to pursue. What are you wanting to pursue? What is your passion? Do you have a reason behind your decision? What is your inspiration to pursue?
Your pursuit to be the best
Passion, perseverance and inspiration in whatever you do is very important. If you don’t have passion in what you do, but you have the perseverance, you will reach your goal. But you will not be content or happy at all. You might as well not pursue your goal if it is not your passion. It might drive you mad. Most health issues faced by corporate employees are because of a lack of passion in what they are pursuing. All of these people who are drawing sickness upon themselves either don’t like their jobs or they are stuck because of the humongous loans they have on their heads for which they are forcing themselves to go for better paying jobs instead of working in better jobs that are satisfying.
What is your ability?
Each one of us is endowed with something special in us. We call this ability or talent. You are capable of doing some task effortlessly. This ability is present in all of us. You don’t have to teach a cow how to eat grass. That’s the cow’s innate ability. Similarly, if what you do comes naturally to you, then, that’s your innate ability.
What is your purpose?
Parents want their children to earn their post graduation degrees and PhD’s. What is the purpose for which they need to pursue their education? If it is for academic excellence? what is the need for it? Do you have a purpose for this excellence? What is your inspiration? If you are doing all this to get a job, earn money, build or buy a house, then, that’s too trivial. Mustn’t your purpose for having spent so many sleepless nights and all that stress you took to earn your certifications be something great? If passion, perseverance, ability and education are combined together, there is no better combination in this world that can take you to success.
What is your vision?
Every action must have a purpose. This purpose of yours must feed a vision. That vision will take care of you. Let me give you an example; Look at visionaries in our time such as Bhagwan Sathya Sai Baba, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, Sri Sri Ravishankar, Acharya Ramdev. These are people who have a vision. Because they have a vision, every action they perform is in line with their vision. Their vision earns for their life. They don’t earn anything for themselves. Their vision earns for their life. They are also an inspiration to countless people including you and me. When you have a vision, you don’t need to work for yourself. You don’t need to earn money for yourself. Money will find its way to you. Not only money, everything will find its way to you. You will be in the best of your health. And that is because you are always inspired.
If you have a vision, then you must stop thinking about yourself. If you are thinking about yourself, then you are too small an objective to achieve. When you have a vision and it is about transforming a generation of people, then, what you are doing is worth losing your sleep.
Find your vision
Now, the question is, how will you find your vision! For this, you need to dive deep within. I found my vision by sitting in meditation. I went deep within and found my calling. Now, I don’t work for money. Money finds its way to me. People find me and come to learn what I have to offer. When they practice, their life transforms into something beautiful. Watching people return to good health fill me with joy. There is no greater reward than watching people embrace sound health.
In my Marma Chikitsa Workshops, most people who are interested to join are people who are looking for good health. They are not doctors. These are people who are yet to find their vision. They are discovering thelr innate abilities. I have come across a few IT professionals who have given up their jobs to follow their calling in healthcare services. And they are doing good at it. Their lifestyles are as it was. The difference they have noticed is that they are happier and healthier.
In conclusion
If you are looking for sound health, one of the main aspect of your life that you need to address is your work. Question yourself. What drives you to work or what is your inspiration? Or what stops you? Be brutally honest with yourself. Then search within, for your abilities. What is it that comes naturally to you. Follow your passion and success will be yours.
