Description
Sambrani, or benzoin, also called Loban, is a gum resin found in the tropical forests of East Asia. When sprinkled on charcoal, this gum resin burns, releasing a dehumidifying smoke that not only helps release the mouldy smell from clothes but also infuses a pleasant odour. Sambrani has more uses than this. It is used as a fumigant to keep mosquitoes at bay, which prevents diseases such as dengue and malaria. This product has been sourced from the private natural forests of Southern India.
