Mahopeksha – The Great Forgiveness
March 10 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Mahopeksha– The great forgiveness was practiced in India ages ago. Overtime, with the Invasions of the Mughals and the British, this practice was lost in time.
Mahopeksha is a practice of cleansing yourself of the 6 enemies of the mind – Kama-Lust, Krodha-Unreasonable Anger, Lobha-Greed, Moha-Attachment, Mada-pride and Madsarya-jealousy. Though these emotions are not directly visible in us, they project themselves through the various interactions and transactions we have as experiences in our lives.
Mahopeksha is a practice that helps release these enemies we carry within us through a process of reflection, reaction and resound so that our lives will blossom into something beautiful.
We have inherited these enemies in us from one generation to another without reason. It has become a host in us and controls our lives. We argue and fight eveyrday in our homes and in our society.
India is the land of love, of brotherhood and has set an example of forgiveness and restraint. We must not lose this tradition. If India loses this tradition, then the world will be in chaos.
Come, participate in this journey to cleanse yourself so that your life becomes beautiful again – Mahopeksha – The Great Forgiveness. Watch the Video
