A few years ago, a professor from Mysore had come to consult me with complaint of pain in his ear and jaw. He had consulted several doctors who had advised him dental surgery. He was apprehensive.
I performed his Nadi Pariksha (Ayurvedic Pulse Diagnosis) and told him that the root cause of his ear ache and jaw pain was his anger. He was in disbelief and was smiling sarcastically at what he thought was a rubbish diagnosis. I suggested to him that he undergo Marma Chikitsa for a cure. He was not comfortable with my suggestion and his apprehension was evident.
I had no choice but to ask him whether he needed a demonstration to prove that his pain was indeed from his anger. When he consented, I did Marma Chikitsa on him. The smile on his face this time was one of relief and happiness. He said that his pain was gone.
When you get angry, the organs that secrete Agni (metabolising agents) such as gall bladder, liver and pancreas get stressed and produce symptoms such as cervical spondylitis, jaw pains, sharp ear aches, migraines and cranial nerve sensitivity to name a few.
The best way is to find help to discover the root cause of anger and remedy the cause so that the symptom of anger is effectively and efficiently dealt with.
Medication or medical intervention does not always have to be the treatment for such symptoms.
Marma Chikitsa is one of the best ancient therapies for several ailments. I have had amazing success with my clients when I have applied Marma Chikitsa on them.
When I was visiting Mysore several years later, I called on him. He was more than happy to acknowledge that he hardly had any pains. And when the pains came, he would resolve his anger emotion and he felt freedom from pain almost instantly.Schedule your appointment
