She thought her husband wasn’t in love with her and then she discovered this

Attachment

The other day, a lady came to me for a consultation. She told me; I love my husband so much but he simply doesn’t love me or care about me. He is the best dad to our children. But, there is a distance between the two of us.

She had come alone. It was evident there was a gap. His absence showcased it.

I performed her Nadi Pariksha to understand her mental patterns and her subconscious thoughts and feelings. After briefly discussing with her, I suggested some remedial therapies to her.

She came for a followup appointment within two days. This time, her husband was with her. He seemed very gentlemanly. From there conversation, it seemed to me that she was searching for her father figure in him. I discussed with her husband and told her what I felt in her Nadi. We discussed and he got the message. She left soon after the appointment.

When she came for the third appointment, she was all glee. I was eager to know the reason. She told me that when she left after her appointment the previous time, her husband ushered her into their car and told her; let’s go out for lunch, just you and me! Let the kids be at home.

His surprise to her couldn’t contain her joy for an entire week. She was all of a sudden so much in love with him.

That’s when she discovered; that the thought of her husband’s gesture kept coming back to her and she just was more in love. Her love just multiplied. She couldn’t contain her smile.

When you learn Nadi Pariksha, you learn how you can study thoughts, emotions, feelings, subconscious patterns and its effect on the body. The connections between root cause and symptoms are revealed to you.

I have been teaching this ancient science for over 10 years and the rewards have been encouraging. I’ve seen doctors shunning their stethoscopes and using only Nadi Pariksha to diagnose their patients’ ailments and some doctors, for the very first time, have used a combination of marma chikitsa and medicines to remove doshas they have discovered through Nadi Pariksha and have been rewarded with excellent results.

Be Energetic Through the Week

Getting ready for the race
How nice it would be if you did not have Mondays! And how nice it would be if Friday evening was every other hour!
These thoughts haunt many people in the industry.
Energy is a mind concept many people don’t understand very well. Everyone has it, few understand it and the rest ignore it.
Your energy levels are directly related to your liking to the activity you are to be engaged with.
For example; If you did not like your job, you will most probably have Monday Blues.
On the contrary, if you have a trek coming up, you’ll not need a reminder to wake up at 5AM.
There is a way to manage your energy levels through the week in any situation. All it takes is a 20 minute practice of balancing your energies every morning and night and you will stay fresh through the day.
Here is a technique that will help you stay mentally fit through the week.
  • Sit for a few minutes everyday at the same time
  • Think of at least 5 work experiences that helped you stay inspired
  • If you haven’t any, create the experiences such as accomplishing a task, helping someone, completing a scheduled task on time, etc., and then redo the task of recalling the experiences
  • Then relive the experiences one at a time and when you feel the high, write in your diary – “I am feeling wow now.”
  • Make it a regular habit to add a few new uplifting experiences frequently.
Marma Chikitsa is another technique which will help you calm your mind, release your stress, help you sleep better and wake up fresh every morning. You can learn this technique in just half day and keep yourself fresh and energetic week after week.

With this simple remedy you can cure your neck pain

Pain in the nape of the neck and shoulder is one of the most common problems people encounter. And there is no age to the occurrence of this pain. I remember having these pains in my pre-teens. And the remedy ranged from putting a beladona plaster to lying on a hard round utensil all night which put pressure on the pain.

Recently we concluded the Basic Marma Chikitsa Coaching Programme in Bangalore. I had a participant who had pain in the nape of the neck and shoulders. He mentioned that his pain was a everyday occurrence and he found it difficult to manage it. He was actually putting up with his pain. He had his wife with him.

I did a 30 second Marma Chikitsa procedure and his pain reduced considerably. I repeated the procedure and this time the pain vanished.

Then, I wanted him to let us know the reason for his pain.

This man was a team lead in a software company. He has his deadlines to adhere to. Its a high pressure job responsibility he is managing. Now, that is not the cause of his pain.

His pain begins whenever he has to listen to his team mates complain with reasons about why something can’t be done. When the reasons are frivolous and annoying, and when he continues to listen, the combination of what he is listening to and his internal reaction creates his pain.

Removing such pain is easy. Here is the way to remove such pain.

Here is the procedure if you are doing it to someone else:

1. Make the person sit straight and facing you
2. Reach out to the bulb like protrusion behind the person’s ears
3. Now rotate outward 3 times and just move your hands down the person’s neck and on the shoulders
4. That’s it. You probably would want to repeat this another time.

Here’s a short video in which I demonstrate the process.

What would you do if your room did not have windows?

exhausted-man

Very recently, a client of mine planned her holiday to Singapore. Before she left, she visited me seeking help to improve her digestion so that she can eat everything she wanted to and asked me to help her in a way that she’d not have any symptoms after she had satisfied her taste buds. It was a rather unusual request.

Well, I helped her with Marmayoga Chikitsa, a process to help harmonise flow of Prana so that the body develops more resilience and tolerant. However, I cautioned her from abusing her body.

She reached Singapore and there were frantic messages from her saying that she was feeling claustrophobic because the rooms allotted to her didn’t have windows.

What would one do in a room without windows?

Some people find it a huge challenge. It’s almost a feeling of chocking to death.

Marmayoga Chikitsa is a lifesaver. Here’s a practice you can do so that your lungs can absorb more oxygen instantly and help you breathe easy.

Place your right hand with fingers extended on your left chest and your left hand on your right chest. Now, press applying moderate pressure and rotate outward 9 times on both sides at the same time. Now reverse the rotation to onwards 9 times. That’s it.

Doing this practice will help you develop your self confidence. The more self confidence you have, the less your dependence on medication.

Within a few days, your body and mind will heal and you won’t ever feel claustrophobic and you’ll definitely not need medication.

In all your future holidays, you’ll feel free. Breathe easy.

Happy holidaying

She was running 5k every morning when this happened to her

She had suffered a severe bout of migraine. A friend of her’s, who had just called her realised something was wrong and directed her call my office and schedule a consultation.

When she walked in, I saw a very fit and trim woman introduce herself. She was an avid golfer and a marathoner. She’d never had a migraine before and when it occurred, she didn’t know what was happening to her. Her vision went blur and she couldn’t hold herself together.

So, I seated her and performed her Nadi Pariksha (Ayurvedic Pulse Diagnosis). What I found didn’t surprise me, but I saw somethings happening in her body which made me enquire about her running.

She told me that she had recently developed pain in her knees. So, she visited an orthopaedic. The doctor told her that her knees were wearing out because she was running on uneven ground and that her problem aggravated with the thin sole shoes she was wearing on her runs. Her knees had begun to arrest her running. So, the doctor advised her to run on even ground and also wear thick soles shoes. She was uncomfortable with both of these suggestions. She didn’t know what to do.

I found this hard to believe. Let us infuse some hard truths into our brains. We’re a species called homo-erectus. This means, we’re a species that are meant to stand straight and running is one of the natural given abilities. And we have a pelvis (hip bone) which tilts and balances the body while the body is running through uneven ground. So, technically what the doctor said couldn’t be scientifically appropriate.

My diagnosis revealed that she was short tempered, had had challenges in her relationships. She was a go getter and very stubborn. Her sense of discipline and etiquette were high on priority. And she was angry because of her unfulfilled desires.

A verse in Ayurveda texts reads;

When a desire is left unfulfilled, feelings of unhappiness, apprehension and fear begin to manifest in the mind. These feelings cause anger and frustration which manifest as symptoms in the body.

So, I enquired about her past and she said that it all started when she was handling her second pregnancy. She didn’t have her husband’s support. He was traveling. She felt all alone. This made her feel very sad. She then wondered, what if she couldn’t resume her career soon enough. She began to demand time from her husband and this led them to quarrel frequently. Her anger and frustration increased. She got back to her career. She was successful. But her bosses gave her repetitive feedback that she was very aggressive. She couldn’t understand how. Now she had stiffness in her knee’s ligaments and tendons which created pain. Even her migraines happened for the same reason.

In my opinion, it had nothing to do with her running on uneven ground.

So, I suggested that she work on releasing her anger and also I performed Marma Chikitsa ( An superfast ayurvedic therapy to remedy aches and pains in the body and restore health) on her to improve her quality of sleep and restore her knees.

She took the therapies and treatments without delay. On day 3, she ran with her thin sole shoes and on uneven ground. Not only did she not have knee pain, she clocked the best time ever on a 5km run.

Never assume that your doctor knows it all. You must consult a Vaidya (knowledgeable healer) who knows how to find out what your body is going through and also suggests appropriate remedies. And such diagnosis is only available in Ayurveda.
