A lady came for a consultation. She was a dentist. She had come for a consultation a few years earlier too. Her problem was stiffness and pain in her neck.
I did a Nadi Pariksha (Ayurvedic Pulse Diagnosis) on her and explained to her the root cause of her symptoms and she was taken aback by the root cause of her symptom.
Her pain was on the right side of her neck and radiated to behind her ear. She was told by the doctors she visited that her pain came from her profession. In her profession as a dentist, she needs to bend to look into the row of teeth of her patients. What I saw was different.
I saw in my diagnostic chart that she was quite frustrated and that was the root cause of her neck pain.
I asked her about her frustration and she confided in me that she was not getting enough patients in her clinic and that caused all the frustration. She also said that at times her patients, looking at her, would ask her whether she was okay and that brought her to tears.
It is written in an ancient Ayurvedic treatise called “Charaka Samhita” written in Sanskrit, which is translated into English for my readers sake;
When desires are born in the mind, they cause disturbances in the body. Desires, unhappiness and fear manifest in the body as imbalances and anger as emotion.
Keeping this knowledge in view, the best treatment I thought will be Marma Chikitsa. So, I did Marma Chikitsa on her and almost instantly her pains subsided by over 80%. She got a taste of the rich Indian therapeutic and healing science of Ayurveda.
When Marma Chikitsa is repeated for just about 3-5 times, it cures the symptoms completely.Schedule your appointment
