Change the way you live

Hi, today a person came to me for a health consultation. As usual, my teammate at the reception desk has asked him not to reveal any symptoms to me and that I’ll figure it out through Nadi Pariksha.

I performed his diagnosis and then we got discussing. The whole discussion was on his dietary pattern and his lifestyle because that’s how he was being a diabetic.

So, my conversation with him goes like this;

Me: at what times of the day do you eat?

Him: I eat when I’m hungry

Me: So, approximately at what times of the day are you hungry?

Him: I take my diabetes pill and then I’m tired and that’s when I eat.

Me: No..No. that’s not hunger! That’s your insulin secretion making your sugars go low. I’m asking you when do you feel hungry?

Him: Stares at me without an answer.

Here is a person who is a full time diabetic and one who relishes non-veg 4 times a week.

How many of you eat when you’re hungry?

Hunger is the only validity for you to have a meal. When you’re eating without hunger, you’re feeding the mind which craves for something to chew on. You’re listening to the wrong voice my friend. And at what cost?

Did you know, if you eat without hunger, your body loses vital energy managing what you’re dumping into the food bag called stomach?

When you eat without being hungry, Your liver tries to minimise abuse in the body by pumping in more glucose into your system. That way, your body will tolerate abuse and try to throw the toxins out the next day. If you’re habitually late at your dinner table, I mean if you’re eating after 8pm every night, you risk becoming a diabetic. First your fasting sugars will go up and then your post prandial. Your liver, pancreas, heart, kidneys are all at stake. Even your veins are at a risk of developing varicosity. Not only that, you run the risk of getting low on vitamin B12 and vitamin D3. You also run into a risk of developing skin diseases such as psoriasis.

Take care when you can. Is important to take care of your body than to get an annual checkup done. The tests only reveal the consequences of the abuse you’ve done. If your body is tolerating the abuse, then the test results won’t show any abnormality.

But the tests never reveal the abuse you’re doing to the body. For that, you need to consult someone who knows what’s right for the body. A doctor is not good enough. You need an health consultant.

Change the way you live when you can so you you won’t need a prescription that changes your life.
